Anyway....Monty Python's John Cleese: Fox News Fans Are Too Stupid To Know They Are Stupid

Monty Python's John Cleese weighed in on FOX News viewers: They're so stupid that they don't know they're stupid.

In a Q&A video, Cleese said, "I think the problem with people like this is that they are so stupid that they have no idea how stupid they are."

"If you're very, very stupid," he says, "How can you possibly realize that you're very very stupid? You'd have to be relatively intelligent to realize how stupid you are."

He cited some research by David Dunning at Cornell. He says that Dunning has pointed out that knowing how good one is at something "requires exactly the same skills as it does to be good at that thing in the first place."

"If you're absolutely no good at something at all," Cleese says, "then you lack exactly the skills that you need to know that you're absolutely no good at it."

"And this explains not just Hollywood," Cleese concludes, "But almost the entirety of FOX News."

Good god, I love John Cleese. xD I didn't even have to play the video to know how hilarious this was going to be. I agree with him, though. Anyone willingly watching Fox News other than to belittle and make fun of it is incredibly stupid.

Well he said a lot of nonsense and basically said its thats way because I said so. Now if fox viewers are stupid he falls in a worse category with his lack of logic. I do believe these two are friends.
