I am fairly new to Off Topix but Jazzy knows me well from another forum and shares my Interest In this particular subject.
I notice most of the members here are from the US but any English members may benefit from this thread.
I am lucky to work for my brother part time who Is an On course bookmaker. I have had the honour to be In the presence of some of Britains finest race-horses.
Around 4 years ago, I was lingering by the Paddock and noticed one of the runners parading. I do not profess to be able to spot future Champions but there was some-thing about this horse... He just exuded a presence.
Since then, he has become the greatest Champion National Hunt Chaser In the world.
He Is the only horse to have ever re-gained the Gold Cup.
The only horse to win 4 consequetive King George Stakes,
The only Horse to win a classic race by a mile.
Jazzy knows him well........ For he Is the one and only Kauto Star'
Since I first saw him, I have watched him every time he ran and his next race Is Boxing Day when he will try to secure a 5th Consequetive win. If you are In England, then you need to place your bet now to get the best Anti-Post odds. he Is the bookies favourite at the moment at 5/4 but this will be shorter on the day.
I will be there on Boxing Day very early. Last year the race-course was on the verge of putting 'Full' signs up after a record thousands of people turned out to see him. This year, even more are expected to see the greatest horse that ever ran.
