my time at my local river/dam...

this is when i went to my local river that runs through the city and there's a dam there...

the lower part is where the manatees are and there's a nest here too, the above part is where the gators stay...

my cat army...

me...

where a road bridge is being built, on the above part of the river so the manatees and their nest wont be disturbed (yes, i look after them and make sure the nest is protected...)

here's the dam part of the river, that separates the manatees from the gators and to keep the manatees from going further into the river where that could get stuck and die...

straight ahead on the other side of the river is where the nest is...

that way is where the river goes into the lagoon...

i did see a few manatees but didn't get a picture of them, but i'll try to get a picture or two of a manatee next time around...

the small old gray cat on the far left is the one that i adopted...
