Ajax have always proved to be a very good team in the UEFA Champions League. They almost reached finals in the tournament few years ago. They were faced with Napoli on 10/4/2022 and they beaten soundedly 6-1. No one expected that kind of result because they even opened the scoring.

I saw mention of them during the Liverpool-Rangers match; suffice it to say, I was shocked. As things stand, I think Napoli are first and we're second so....
I was not surprised by that result. Ajax lost a couple of players during the transfer window to other teams and it is now clear that these stars were not properly replaced. Do they still have a chance to qualify? That is what I can't say for now.

If I remember correctly - by the way, welcome to the board @Henrywrites! - Napoli are 1st, Liverpool 2nd, Ajax 3rd and Rangers 4th; I still think 2 of either Napoli, Liverpool and/or Ajax will advance which means Ajax will have to beat Napoli next week, beat/draw Rangers later on and maybe even draw/win vs. Liverpool to advance to the CL knockout stage.
First, though, they gotta' snap back and beat Napoli next week.
