How do you make new friends as an adult?

:|

I really don't know. I feel like it's much harder since everyone is set in their ways and still so judgmental of people that you're kinda shit outta luck if you're older than a teenager. I haven't made any new friends IRL since I was in high school.

Part of the reason why I don't bother is because it's too much effort and I have a lot of trust issues, so it's difficult for me to care.

Go out, play sports, go to the library, ...

Almost all of the new friends I have made as an adult are people I work with or have come into contact with during the course of my job. For instance police officers, sheriffs and fire fighters. I gues it's easier to make friends when you all have something in common.
