Do you have any plans for New Year's Eve?

probably sat on teh internet just like the last 4 ..........................at least i get to celebrate new years about 6 times over with friends around the world

I hope I get clearance to return to work! I work at the hospital every New Year's Eve. Don't need to tell any of you that it's the busiest night of the year.

Where I live, we call it Hogmany

Anyways I shall do what I do in the 31st of December, stay up until 2am

Aside from staying up late (which I do anyway on a normal basis - insomnia...blah!)...not much...

Some of my friends will be starting a party at 11am and I'll probably arrive there at 2pm. In the evening, around 6pm, I'm going to a different party. There some girls are going to cook a marvelous dinner for me and a group of friends and then we're going to play drinking games and chat and have fun. At midnight we're going to the river to watch the fireworks and then we're going in the city to party some more (till morning

).

The second party is with friends from high school I haven't really seen in a year. We used to do crazy stuff so I'm really looking forward to it.

Every year we head to local pub about 7pm. Me, my parents, my siblings and a friend or two.. The pub holds a new year party with a disco and we spend the night dancing and eating food my mum cooks to take in with us.

Going to have my kid that night so I will to stay home and watch the ball drop with her.

I'm not surprised, to be honest. New Year's Eve is the one time of year where people think that just because it's a new year, they can drink and drive. New Year's eve is not an exception to this rule, unfortunately, and it's always been that way. But it seems like every year you get a few people who don't get that message.

Anyways, we're in for a winter storm watch till Saturday, so my plans are looking like staying home and watching the Ball Drop on television, promoting my forum and hanging out on forums in general. I've been ill this last week so I don't know how late I'll manage to stay up till.

So yeah, watching the ball drop on TV, posting on forums, and maybe requesting some packages and looking out for freebies for my own forum.

Congratulations. I hope it's a calm and peaceful evening with nothing more than a plaster or sick-bowl needed.
