This is downright Orwellian....

Couldn't you just say "I'm not on social media" ...What are they going to do confiscate your computer?

They are determined to just ignore the Supreme Court rulings at every turn. This is what it has come to in many states in many issues. The split up of America has already begun people just don’t realize it yet.

No, they'll just deny your concealed carry permit....

And yet some of us are still determined to keep the country together through the present mess.....

It’s done, it’s just a matter of how much longer and can we do it without violence

Well, just remember there are an awful lot of Americans like myself who, if push ever did come to serve, would push right back against our new leaders the way Appalachian folk did towards the Confederacy during the Civil War (for instance, Richmond had to send more troops to the East Tennessee/Western NC region to quell Unionist sentiments than they could send to meet the Union forces)....

It’s going to be more like it starts with one state openly saying no to the federal government. Than the federal government will try and do things like warnings, sanctions but it won’t lead to violence. Other states will see the opening on both political ideologies and it will just spread from their. But what state will be the first and what will be the tipping point?

Going back to the OP for a moment's thought: has anyone considered that, the 2nd Amdt. notwithstanding, that NY's potentially violating the 1st Amdt. right of NY state gun-owners as well?
