I'm not defending Sharia Law... I think all religious doctrines are absolutely disgusting.
It simply seemed as though Mr. Nugent was advocating the prevention of immigration by Muslims and in general just hating on Arabs.
The conclusion was to outlaw Sharia... which I could see as understandable, but I think if it really came to anything (which I don't think it will) in the United States I think that any kind of attempt to institute Sharia would be struck down under the separation of church and state.
I find it absurd that people actually think that these kinds of doctrines could become laws in the United States. (Especially considering how racist everyone is toward Arabs here).
EDIT: And as far as Olbermann's comments go, they are understandable considering the kind of rhetoric coming from Tea Party protesters and the Tea Party itself. I would never make such a characterization, but it is true that there are a fair amount of Tea Party members who are overtly racist.
