NFL Player Collapses On Field During Bills-Bengals Game, Match Postponed

Yep, it's going to take everyone a long time to rebound from this. Hopefully Hamlin will be ok and will recover. No considerations about his future, that is so, so secondary at the moment. I'm glad some of his teammates stayed behind, many of them will need that, and he will need it when he comes around.

Agreed; for what its' worth, since both teams have already made the playoffs (not that that should be a concern right now) the NFL should just declare the game a tie and move from there. Given what happened, God help any NFL owner who objects ('cause under NFL bylaws a decision of that nature requires unanimous consent from the remaining 30 team owners).

Yeah, I think that's the best possible thing. I read somewhere that he showed signs of improvement overnight. That's wonderful news! If things improve to the point of him being on the road to recovery, awake and alert, then maybe I could see them replaying/finishing the game, but...do we really want them re-living that moment again? I know in both of the incidents I posted those games were indeed made up eventually, but not right away. Give the players time to sort themselves out, to process what they went through.
