That's totally out of order.. I like to see new members posting an introduction thread on my forum but they don't need to.

If it was an absolute requirement that I had to make an intro topic, I likely wouldn't even really bother. Making an intro topic is something you do out of courtesy.

That is so stupid. Many people don't feel comfortable introducing themselves into a completely new community. Some members also like to instantly get into the forum instead of taking time out to introduce themselves. Kinda silly and selfish of the forum to do something like this.
