Official World Cup 2010

Yeah, just get on with it people!

We actually have the football on in my house, amazingly, but with music too, to drown out the noise

RUSTENBURG, South Africa -Clint Dempsey scored on a blunder by goalkeeper Robert Green in the 40th minute, and the United States came from behind to tie England 1-1 in the Americans' World Cup opener Saturday.

Green was only half the problem. We should have scored a few more to make that one mess up irrelevant.

Gutted we could only put one past USA. Heskey should have taken his chance.

Yeah, he should have buried that

Rugby really isn't tougher than Football. And our Football, is real Football. More interested to be honest. Bigger fans, nicer set-up, it's all great.

But hey, I'm an American, I'm born to love Football. Not Rugby. And trust me guys, if your a British guy picking on American Football, why not come down here and play some ball?

I thought that Tim Howard did a great job in goals, and the way he managed to keep it out for almost the entire game was great. England would have won if it wasn't for Robert Green's goalkeeping blunder, but the US did very well in keeping up with a higher ranking team who were a favourite to win.

I feel sorry for Green, though. He probably won't play again at this World Cup.

I've played both. I've played American football IN america.

Rugby is tougher.

Take off some of that padding and that helmet, then try playing the game.

Explain to me how your football is the real football when predominantly you run with the ball in your arm/hands. Rugby is tougher, no need for padding, we can take the pain.

Sorry pal, but without the padding you'd get killed in American football. In Rugby, all they do is just flip people instead of tackling them.

Have you even seen some of the hits in NFL? I looked up Rugby best hits, and they were crap. They were just flipping people or just ramming them with their shoulder at slower speeds.

And if an American from the NFL played Rugby against other Rugby players, good luck. XD
OK, we all know the best possible thing the South African people can ever do is to blow an obnoxious horn. We get it. They can stop now.

Nice racist attempt.
Excuse me? How is that Racist? The comment was an indictment of the Host Nation, not a particular segment of their culture.

Is everybody blowing the horn Black?

Is every African Black? (That would be news to Charlize Theron who is African among others.)

Do you have to be a Black African to blow a vuvuzela at a soccer game?

Come on, work with me here... How is that comment an attempt at racism?
