Sight is related to physical attractivness. So, we only talk here about physical attractivness. Sure, we can think some girl is wow. But true love on "first sight" is when I click with her instantly, when I don't need to lookup for topics and feel akward, when conversation goes super easy.
Falling in love can happen at first sight. Happened to me and my soul mate of 34 years now .

Whilst not everyone will fall in love at first sight, it is not unknown for it to happen to some.
I myself don't believe I have fallen in love at first and it has taken a little while for me to.
