What is the most overrated beverage?

Coffee? Pepsi? etc, You make the call! Why all the hype over this mediocre beverage?

I don't understand the appeal of Coca-Cola, Lemonade, 7-Up, Mountain Dew, Solo...

I don't like coffee or soda and people addicted to these two beverages are always trying to get me to drink them. I think there must be mind control substances in them or something!

Energy Drinks whose side effects from long term use are just starting to come to light.

And the US version of Mountain Dew, complete with fire retardant as an ingredient.

Gatorade and any of those silly energy drinks. I can suck down 4 of any energy drink and fall sound asleep within minutes. Not that it's an example of an overrated beverage, but coffee doesn't keep me up, either.

It would appear that in your case, caffeine, sugar, and B vitamins do not give you "energy".

Diet sodas. I hate the tastes and they're not all that much more healthier for you depending on the ingredients.
