I've done a few if it got me something, otherwise I don't bother with it unless the product was truly good or bad.

Yes. I received a $10 Amazon gift card. The review wanted to know if my package arrived on time and in good condition.

Joined a site that offered free products in exchange for reviews. Unfortunately, you do get absolute crap on there and there is never actually anything good to keep

I would be happy to write reviews if I am paid for them. I have not come across any such Sites so far.

I'm never lucky with surveys. I always get disqualified along the way. So i have stopped trying all the same now

Yes, I received gift cards for leaving positive reviews on Amazon and I also received a product for leaving a review for another product. It hasn't happened like that in a long time since I think Amazon was cracking down on preventing that from happening.
