As the title says, I am going to list a few questions:
Are you okay with having a real pitbull? (A real one and not a mix, but an authentic copy.)

Do you think a Pitbull is a threat to other dogs and your family?

Do you think it is a "breed" that should NOT exist?

Some of the sweetest dogs I have ever met were pit bulls. They can be a family friendly dog but they do have a bad reputation. Depends on how they were raised. If you surround an dog with a friendly and loving environment (from birth) then thats the type of dog you'll get.

I believe all of that is true; but still, there are so many other choices available that personally, I would be reluctant to own one. :dontknow:
I think that Akitas were used in some circles historically as fighting dogs. Close to wiped out as a breed I understand because of being known as a fighting dog.
I lived with an Akita for 15 years, the very best dog I've ever known and the absolute "love of my life" and soulmate.
