I figured I'd resurrect this thread... I haven't really changed my background much, but I'd like to point out how much fun can be had with opening windows (see taskbar)
(I cheated a little by opening 4 extra windows to completely hide all text, but still)

Here's my desktop of the new laptop. I like the background it came with and as you can see, I turned off the transparency of the taskbar.
