What was the stupidest thing you got pressured into doing as a Teen?

I wish I could blame a lot of the stupid shit I did on someone pressuring me into it, but I take full responsibility for my own actions

This. Kids don't get pressured into doing jack shit. They are capable of making decisions, albeit very stupid ones at times. I think the most stupid decision I made was just doing stupid stunts and putting myself in danger.

The stupidest thing I ever did was believe a popular boy at high school wanted to take me to the prom. I knew my dad wouldn't be able to afford to get me a prom dress or even pay for me to get my hair done, but I told the boy I would go with him.

There was a young woman who lived next door to us and we were close friends. I asked her what I could do to get a dress and get my hair done. She smiled, went into her bedroom, and brought out this beautiful dress. She told me to try it on and with a little alteration, it was mine to wear. She even had shoes that matched. The shoes were a little too big, so we stuffed tissue in the tips of them. Next came the hair and she did a beautiful french twist. Added a pair of clip on earrings and a necklace. I felt like Cinderella.

To make a long story short, the boy stood me up. It was all just a joke. My dad said: "You look too beautiful to not go now." He put on his dress blues and took me to the prom. You can only imagine the looks we both got but he was the best prom date I could have ever asked for.

Found out later the boy said he was pressured by his friends to pull the joke on me.

My dear Jazzy, the is the kind of cruelty that one believes only happens in movies.

I can only hope that Karma caught up to him for what he did to you, where you on the other hand ended up with a beautiful memory of your father.

I can't even remember. I've never been one to fall into pressure. I do smoke though but I remember smoking because I wanted to. My friends weren't forceful..

Boyfriends. Half the bfs i dated i was pressurised into doing so by my mum. When i said i didnt want to date them she made out that there was something wrong with me. Each lasted about a month.

I don't understand how a mother can do that
