I actually try to limit my use of profanity. I'm okay with it being used. Just not in every other sentence during a post. And yes, I do visit forums that censor it. Doesn't really bother me if they censor it or not.

No I do not use profanity/bad words on forums or in RL. I was brought up that there is no need to use such language. I think it's shows class and good manners not to use such words. I especially hate the F word and I cringe when I hear small children use it and it makes me wonder what type of parents they have.



I have been on forums that censor profanity and quite frankly I'm glad they do. I'm not a prude but I just think using this type of language is not necessary.

Yea I swear on HH, Not in every post/sentence. I think people should be allowed to swear if they want to.

I don't do it often but every now and then and I don't sensor my forum either. In general I find forum censorship pretty stupid in general. I trust my members and so far they haven't gone overboard with anything that I've needed to censor.

Well not everything is good in moderation... for example. Self-mutilation, heroin, suicide etc.

Obviously by the word everything I was talking about words that are considered to be profanity.

I don't care if people swear on my forum. I do swear on my own forum but not much, same with the members. I believe in freedom of speech and I can't offer freedom of speech and say no swearing.



You aren't allowed to swear directly at people though in an abusive manner.

The only cuss words that I ever say which are on rare occasions would be damn and or ass because what you say is easily recorded...now on Instant Messenger.... that's a different story, it is uncensored there, I've been on a couple of forums that disable cussing which isn't a burden for I can easily dispatch that from my vocabulary.

I rarely swear. Never used the 'F' word on forums. If I am going to say something that might be deemed inappropriate it will most probably be written like: @#%*

I do hate to hear woman swearing on forums.

I wouldn't spend much time if any on a forum that has a strong stance on using bad language. Its fine if people are not using it in an aggressive manner towards other people... imo.
