A girl with a Dragon Tattoo.

Some scenes where I thought I couldnt watch it all. Made me feel sick, but good story and ending was good. Look forward to the next films. Just hope they are not as graphic in places.

Batman The Dark Knight Rises

10/10

First Batman film i've seen all the way through. Loved it. Saw it in Imax, had to wear earplugs it was so loud, couldn't have sat through it without them. Still amazing film.

les Miserables

With Hugh Jackman, Russel Crowe and Anne Hathaway.

They SING their parts, this is not lip synch and voice over. And they all do very well. The staging is operatic, and you believe these people are living through this event.

Overall movie is fantastic. It is in English, but that does not detract from the storyline.

Let me put it this way. The flaming A-hole Sacha Baron Cohen is in the thing as the Innkeeper, the only comic relief in the movie and basically the villian, and he does NOT F it up!

To me, and I've seen the show on stage and so on.... This is the definitive production of the Hugo novel.

I recently finished watching Three ... Extremes and The Black Rat, both of which were Japanese movies with sub-titles and most of them were garbage. The Black Rat was the kind-of garbage that was entertaining to watch for nearly the whole way, shades of Machine Girl or the other action-splatter flicks that Japan produces, whereas Three ... Extremes was a crazy, demented, and somewhat uncomfortable film to watch, but the stories never made any sense.

I finished watching Saw V and Sweeney Todd, and I have to say that for starters, Saw gets a bad wrap as a whole, and I think this movie, although brought about way too many stupid ideas, still remained consistent with its intelligent ideas. I think the biggest problem with Saw is that it tried to be too intelligent and stretched itself beyond its own means, projecting something on the screen that was contrasting to what it was actually meant to be, being more generic than innovative. As for Sweeney Todd, I found the movie to be absolute tremendous in-terms of entertainment value, and I think that the movie will probably wind up somewhere in my top-twenty. The execution in the acting, the cinematography that shows Tim Burton at his most inspired, and the story itself were something that I could easily fall head over heels for.

Just went to see star trek there in the cinema. Thought it was a really good movie, the visual effects were amazing. Found it quite funny at first with me not having seen any of the other star treks, but I got to grips with the plot quite quickly. 8/10 for me ;)

I watched Silver Linings Playbook last night.

Overall, I thought it was a great film. Provided some slight perspective on those with mental illnesses. Decent acting by Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence. There were also several funny moments.

I'd give it an 8/10.
