Lately I've been hooked on documentaries. I love documentaries about crime, psychology, or anything mind bending. However, the last few days I haven't been able to find any new documentaries that I haven't already seen.

Any recommendations would be highly appreciated :) thanks!

Do you have Netflix? They have a bunch. Yesterday I watched one (from National Geographic) on North Korea. It was pretty interesting. A country of brainwashed weirdo's who worship their dictator like a god... But it's apparent that many of them fake it out of fear of being sent to a prison camp.

Oh that sounds really interesting Mr.2015, do you remember the name of the movie?

Yes, I have Netflix and o have the U.S version (I live in Canada) so I've been watching documentaries on that.

There is an amazing 20 part documentary called The Cold War
Which is absolutely fantastic and I strongly recommend it.

The Secrets of the Dead has several episodes, some are better than others, but all are interesting.

If you want to go with a couple of the originals, there is Lord Kenneth Clark's CIVILIZATION which is a 13 part series that essentially invented the type. It was followed up by Jacob Bronowski's more cerebral "Ascent of Man". They are somewhat dated now, but, the facts and sites they present are fascinating.

One I recommend: I Know That Voice http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2113683/?ref_=nm_flmg_slf_3

It's an hour long doco about heaps of the voice actors we hear in so many shows. A great way to see how they look and sound in real life.

ESPN's 30 for 30: Hillsborough
A look at the events of 15 April 1989 at Hillsborough Stadium in Sheffield, England which led to the death of 96 Liverpool football supporters, and the legacy of what is now known as the "Hillsborough Disaster".

I have yet to find a better documentary concerning the events of that tragic day a qtr.-century ago...
