Why do they always get lost? Why hasnt someone invented a beeping remote.. Where you can push a button on the television and the remote sends off a loud beeping sound so you can find it?

I've never lost a remote before. They are usually on the arm of the chair/couch or by the TV.

Isn't that point of a universal remote? Or was that to reduce the number of remotes?



Wouldn't it be funny if you had replaced all your remotes with a universal one, then lost it?

Never really watch TV so I don't get this problem much

I had a television where I could shut it off on the set itself and when I turned it on, the remote would make noise until you found it. It was quite handy.

I've never lost my remote but my television has a remote find button. I tested it and when pushed the remote beeps.
