Removing Chrismas Decorations

When did you/are you removing your Christmas decorations?



Me and my family removed ours on New Years day

No idea, my mom will probably get to it at some point. I hope they remove it in the city soon though. I don't like christmas XD.

I dunno... I think they're gone but I haven't really noticed.

I think people are starting to take down decorations now though.

I take down any decorations the day after. Some people in town still have theirs up and I'm sick of looking at them.

Same here. Granted, even if I was in the holiday spirit, there's not much room to put decorations up.

Mine will come down tomorrow or Thursday. Thursday (6th January) is twelfth night. Epiphany. The night the three wise men allegedly reached the stable. Don't ask me why but apparently it is bad luck to have the decorations still up after twelfth night.

The town where I go to for college never takes down their decorations XD It's been up since December 2005 or someting

We didn't really have many decorations up but the tree's getting removed sometime this or next week.

New years day. In the past when I had a full size Christmas tree up, I'd leave it until mid January or even the whole month of January. But this year I just had a couple mini tree's out so it was easy to put away & had no desire to leave them out.

They come down after the 10th, which is another birthday day in our family.

Some people here don't take down theyre lights. They illuminate theyre whole house walls with santa, reindeer, snowman lights etc etc and just leave them up all year

I took my Christmas decorations down last month, on 5th January. Some of you may not believe me but a superstition exists that you must take down your decorations on 5th January, no sooner or later
