Reputation

If a forum offers it, do you take advantage of the Reputation system?

Personally, i always do. If there's a post that explains how i feel about a certain subject without me even posting, i'll plus rep it. If there's a post that strikes me as absolutely amazing, i'll plus rep it. Especially on a forum like this, where the reputation is so easy to give out and monitor, why not take advantage.

Eh, it depends. If it's a general chat forum like this, I'll +rep someone if I find their post helpful or if they've helped me out in any shape or form that would earn them a +rep on this kind of forum. I think this is more useful on advertisement forums more than anything, as you can +rep someone for a post exchange well done, or you could +rep a package team member who completed your package really well, stuff like that. Thanks mods are generally better on forums such as this, but some forums have both, though...

I use this feature. I use it when I find topics that are interesting and informative, when a member posts a reply that shows they really put some thought into that reply (whether or not I agree with the reply), and when I want to just thank a member for showing they care about me.
