On the 8th of February, 2014, RPG Lounge has reached a grand 20 000 posts in the space of 6 months. Hopefully, this achievement can bring RPG Lounge more activity and awesome users. (Like the ones we have already )

Hey, just thought I'd inform you guys of some updates which have been added to RPG Lounge over the past few days.

The following mass email was sent to the users of RPG Lounge recently:

Hey there, just wanted to inform everyone of some of the new updates which have been released on RPG Lounge.

Firstly, for registered members – all advertisements displayed by google have been removed (For a year, once that year ends the ads expire. Therefore; donations are always welcome).
A new toolbar has been added to the top of the page with a notification system. This should be handy for roleplayers who like quick RP’ing and being notified instantly of new posts.
The Omniverse was released on the first of March. It’s still in BETA, so feel free to come along and check it out and tell us what you think! You may read more on this exciting release over here: http://rpglounge.forumotion.com/t1001-the-omniverse-released
A tagging system has been added to the forum. Type in @ in a post and you will be prompted with a pop-up window with tagging instructions – this should also be useful with roleplays and help with confusion when it comes to larger RPs.
There have also been a couple other minor changes to the forum which should help with ease of access and design.
