Saving money

Right now I'm spending the money I saved... 
Currently my boyfriend and I are saving our money to do house renovations (We have some things we need to get fixed in the house or it can start to cause more issues.) and other than that we are saving for a vehicle. It may takes us a few months or even a year but we will get there!
I am always putting money aside when I can, but I'm not really saving for one specific item. It's more about saving for big, long term changes I'll need to make later on.
For example, I know the house will need some renovating later. The kitchen and bathroom are old, but they've always been looked after well, so they should be good for a few more years.
As for small things, I'm fortunate that I don't really need to save up for them. I always have extra for small purchases, but I'm still very careful about how much I spend and where it goes.

Right now mostly spending money (about a month to go I estimate) as I'm moving soon (now painting etc). But I'm saving as much as possible to pay for my sons' education, the oldest will probably start uni in 2 years and the youngest in 5. Especially the years when they're both in uni will be tough financially, so I have to make sure I have enough money in the bank in advance to cover for those. After I move, I may go look for an additional job over the weekends.
I am currently saving money to buy a landed property. One of the pressing needs that I have is to get a land ad build a personal house. I have saved more than half of the target amount.
