What are you currently saving money for so you can afford to buy it later?

I was saving for a tablet, but it's better if I go to Best Buy than to just order 1 from Amazon. I was earning gift cards.

Currently my boyfriend and I are saving our money to do house renovations (We have some things we need to get fixed in the house or it can start to cause more issues.) and other than that we are saving for a vehicle. It may takes us a few months or even a year but we will get there!

I've been saving up for a new HVAC unit. Mine seems like it could die at any moment, especially with winter upon us.

I am always putting money aside when I can, but I'm not really saving for one specific item. It's more about saving for big, long term changes I'll need to make later on.
For example, I know the house will need some renovating later. The kitchen and bathroom are old, but they've always been looked after well, so they should be good for a few more years.
As for small things, I'm fortunate that I don't really need to save up for them. I always have extra for small purchases, but I'm still very careful about how much I spend and where it goes.
