Should politicians serve shorter terms in office?

Do you think politicians should serve shorter terms in office? Like for example if the president sucks and is doing more harm than good?

No, I think the terms are too short as it is. Everyone has their minds set on short term goals. Small things they can accomplish during their short time in office. We need people who have our futures in mind, long term goals.

I totally agree here.

4 years for a president is pretty short time to achieve longer goals, but long enough to notice when they do bad.

I say yeah, because if governors, and in some cases mayors in other states have term limits, politicians should too.
