Bethesda have announced a star studded voice cast for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
In a press release earlier today Bethesda revealed that Academy Award Nominees Christopher Plummer, Max Von Sydow and Joan Allen are all on the cast list for their latest game.
Veteran actor Christopher Plummer, who stars in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo out later this year, takes on the role of Arngeir, a powerful Greybeard elder. These elders form an order of philosopher monks; masters of the Way of the Voice they live in silent isolation atop Skyrim's largest mountain.
Joan Allen, who stared in The Bourne Ultimatum as CIA agent Pam Landy will voice Delphine, one of the last remaining members of the Blades - an acient warrior society once sworn to protect the Emperor. Delphine, Allen's first videogame role, like your character is on a mission to unravel the mystery of the dragons' return.
Starring as Esbern, Max Von Sydow plays a chronicler and agent of the Blades who teaches you how to confront, Alduin, the World Eater, an especially evil dragon.
Perhaps the most well known of the cast, Lynda Carter of Wonder Woman fame voices Gormlaith Golden-Hilt, a Nord hero who overthrew the dragons in ancient times.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is comes out on 11th November on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
