I don't smell babies that often, but I don't go around smelling babies like they are flowers. I can smell babies when I pick them up to hold them and the smell in kind of like baby powder , but it's just a little different.Nebulous said:LegendHidden said:

I love the smell of new tennis balls.
Today my wife baked homemade biscuits for lunch.
I had to go out of the house for awhile to run an errand, and when I came back, they had just come out of the oven.
I tried to attach a file of that smell, but the server didn't recognize the file format.

I think most of my favourite smells are the usual clichés:

Baking Bread.
Fresh Coffee (better still, Roasting Coffee).
New-mown grass.
Seaweed when the tide goes out.
Trichlorethane (the solvent used in such products as nail varnish).
Fish & Chip shops (probably fairly unique to the U.K.).
Coal Fires (ok, not exactly eco friendly, but smells gorgeous)
Hates:
Curry.
Cigarette Smoke (ex smoker, which heightens the sensitivity to it).
Overpowering Womens' Perfumes (brings tears to my eyes & makes me sneeze).
Tomato Plant Stems (smells like cat's urine).
Perfumed Soap.
