Do you like snow?

What are your earliest memories of snow?

What fun things can you do in the snow?

Would your prefer to live in a snowy place or not?

I like snow and I like to visit it but I would never want to live somewhere where it snows. Too much work and hassle to deal with.

Earliest memory was sledding without gloves. Most miserable day of my life! :bigcry:

Snow is just plain EVIL! Any fun memories of it have been replaced with bad.

I love snow! I'm disappointed we didn't get much of it this Winter. It's been too warm here where I live. Winter is definitely one of my favorite seasons, but I also love Fall and Spring. (I hate summer though.)

We used to get at least a foot of snow and often much more each winter and I loved it as a kid. Now we just get ice storms and quick snow that melts between storms.

lol I used to like snow when I was a kid. I don't like it anymore. Snow means I might get stuck in my drive way or slide off the road and into a ditch resulting in me needing a two truck. Snow sometimes means missing a day of work.

Snow just makes life harder. If you have to deal with it every day.

No foolin' ! It's a real treat to move on from snow shoveling to grass mowing.
Around here I just get a break from mowing because the grass doesn't grow in the winter months. My yard stays in suspended animation until spring. Now I have tons of yard work to do. Going to go work on that in a bit.

I looooove snow. I just hate it when the fucking place I live is incompetent and doesn't prepare for it, creating gridlock traffic and forcing people to abandon their vehicles, which makes a normal commute turn into 8+ hours. Can you tell this is happened here multiple times? Lol.

In your city do they also have "articulated" busses which they insist on driving around in the snow? That's a real riot to watch them on a snowy hill. Of course they never expect it to snow in Seattle. :p

Basically what happens in Seattle is what happens in Portland. Lots of ding dongs driving when they shouldn't be, but it sounds like Portland's response might be a little bit worse, especially in this last round of snow back in February.

Snow looks lovely and I had great fun in it as a kid (and even as a parent of a kid). But then I have to shovel my drive and, yeah, the beauty and fun kind of get sucked out of it.

I have a love/hate relationship with snow. I like snow itself. It makes for beautiful photography and it's fun to play in. I hate driving in it, working in it, and the cold that comes with it.

Welcome to the club, FoN.
