Staff Ages

Do you consider someones age before you promote them?

Do you care how old staff members are on forums you visit?

If they can do theyre role professionally then it doesn't matter what age they are. I always put people on trial before hand.

Age doesnt matter for us. Our staff rundown:



Admin 1: 19

Admin 2: 19

Admin 3: late 40's/early 50's



Tech1 (me!): 17

Tech2: 19



SuperMod1: 20



Mod1: 19

Mod2: 19

Mod3: 18

Mod4: 20

Mod5: 22

Mod6: 25

Mod7: 50ish



That's all i can think of right now. We're basically run by teens, and do a better job than a good chunk of other sites out there.

Staff age doesnt really matter though. As long as they can do the job.

I would be a little weary of anyone under 14 though. But like with anyone I hire to the staff, I'd have to watch how they act on the forum for a long while.

Chronilogical age has little to do with maturity. The worst admin I ever worked with was in his 40's. Went a little crazy with the ban button.....

I prefer to have an all adult staff.

I have nothing against teens but it's just what suits my forum. No one is wrong or right about this so it'll always be the admin's personal preference.

I wouldn't know how old my staff are as I don't bother to ask them. I'd guess that they'd be in their late-teens. But I don't care about their age as long as they get the job done.
