Staff with bad grammar?

I like proper grammar from my staff but some tend to replace words with letters (EX: you -> u)



Which is okay I suppose, I personally never type like that though.
 
Most browsers have a spellchecker built in.



Most likely, they are intentionally typing in texting shorthand probably because they want to.



And sometimes, their messages are totally incomprehensible even to other texters, either that, or their meaning can easily be taken other than the way they intended it.
 
Absolutely. There's no excuse for lazy grammar or using the English language (or another language) in an incorrect way, especially for a member of staff. I would never hire anyone who has had a history of this within a year or so.
