The Steelers are going to have to win a playoff game without perhaps their most valuable player.

The team announced that running back Le’Veon Bell has been ruled out for tomorrow’s wild card game against the Ravens.

Bell, who was second in the league in rushing and also a dangerous receiving threat (2,215 combined yards from scrimmage), suffered a hyperextended knee in last week’s win over the Bengals, and he hasn’t practiced this week.

That will leave the Steelers trying to run on the Ravens with either rookies Josh Harris and Dri Archer, or veteran Ben Tate, who was added this week.

That’s going to make things tougher against a Ravens Defense that’s getting defensive tackle Haloti Ngata back this week.

Thoughts?
