No one as I learned long ago that hate only seeks to destroy the love inside the one who hates. It doesn't mean people don't hurt you but you don't let the hurt they caused to drive out your love. This is hardly an easy thing to do as this world will give you every reason to hate and encourage you to stay in it for as long as you allow yourself to believe the lie that there is any freedom or peace gained out of hating others.

Not really. Anger is a product of hate. One does not love that who he is angry with. The more anger is allowed to fester, the stronger and clearer the hate becomes. In time, anger bears hate which consumes all love for a person leaving only hate behind then the relationship between the two can ever be salvaged which is awful seeing as it wouldn't be that way if one or the other put down their pride, discarded their anger and forgave the other.

The divorce of my parents, which made it difficult for me to see my dad as much as I wanted to. I see him once a year, if I'm lucky. It's been that way since I was about 11.
An expert? I don't see myself as that just someone who goes by what he's experienced. I know what it is like to be angry with someone and have that anger fester into hate. It becomes a jail cell and you stay there because it seems comfortable and there doesn't seem any reason to leave but time passes and gladly I found my way out of that jail cell or I would still be there because I justified being in there and staying there. I lived many years sadly being angry with people in my life. I let that anger fester into hate and it's only when I forgave those who hurt me in this life was I able to escape it and truly live as I should in love not hate.I know it doesn't show itself on here because it's been a long time since I moved away from that mindset but I still clearly remember how I used to be.
Not all anger festers into hate though, life is not that black and white. You can be angry with, frustrated with, disappointed in someone for something and still love & care about them immensely.
