Supreme Court says no to New York, only citizens can vote

I know right! That’s why when I first heard it I just assumed Supreme CourtWait, wait.....a court in New York state did that?
I'd say the people who voted for the people who passed that law should really consider voting out those people. They clearly are either malevolent or so incompetent that they are unfit to serve in office in any capacity anywhere. What precedence found anywhere in any country at any time would convince someone that this was a good idea? I can't think of a single thing they could have pointed at that said this was even remotely sound legally.
