I, too, am a listener.  I'm not a huge talker, though I can talk if need be.  I tend to observe more and listen to what's going on around me. A lot of people think I'm a cold-hearted bitch because I don't have much to say, which is interesting. Why do you guys think quieter people are judged for being mean/rude?

I am a listener when someone needs someone they can talk to, and I am a talker when someone needs words, and I try my best to apply the right one as needed.

lol, some times what people say isn't always important. I do that too at work with customers who bitch and moan. Let it go through one ear and out of the other.

Same here. I can be a chatterbox around people I am close with. Everyone else I'll just let them talk.
