there are different levels of taxing amounts in Canada that depend upon how much income you make in a year. I'm going to file my income taxes right noww and because I made less than $5,000 I'm not going to be taxed as much as my mom, who on her own made almost $10,000. but again, I'm not going to get as much of a tax rebate or whatever it's called as she will.
