I don't drive, but still, I'd never do it.
I would never do either. I see people doing this all the time and it pisses me off. Just the other day some guy was yacking on his phone and kept drifting into my lane. I laid on the horn to get his attention. I swear, he dang near side swipped my truck. There is no way in heck you can text/talk while driving and still pay attention to the road!
