The Doctor Who Fan Thread!

I'm hoping to see the special episodes with Matt Smith before starting the new series with Peter Capaldi. I never got to see the episode showing 10th Doctor regenerating into 11th Doctor. Saw the regeneration part itself on YouTube, but never the full episode.

And even after 12 regenerations, he's still not ginger. Boo! :P

i didn't get to see the 9th into 10th, just clips.

It was a good episode. It explained the whole Bad Wolf thing; why the Doctor and Rose kept encountering those words everywhere they went. :)

That is the plan! Soon as I get a lucky moment in the front room anyway. Now yeah, I could do it on this laptop. But I'd rather be in the front room.

Binge! Binge! Binge!

Or suck. Your choice. :P

My wife and I have been binge watching Doctor Who for the first time! We're currently on the sixth season, we started with the 2005 reboot. So far David Tennant is my favorite Doctor, and my favorite companions are Donna, Rory, and Amy. My wife loves Matt Smith, she says I kind of look like him. :V

I’ve never seen it. Although I always meant to watch it. Is it on Netflix?

I think it's only on HBO Max. I heard most of the original seasons got lost in a fire, so it sounds like it's going to be very difficult to find the early episodes. :\

I have HBO Max. Maybe I'll check it out.

I started watching with Christopher Eccleston back in 2005. I remember my mom watching the older episodes when I was young. Eccleston was good but I really liked David Tennant bringing the character to life. Took me a bit to warm up to Matt Smith. Peter Capaldi didn’t have the same feel. Maybe they should’ve kept with a younger version? The storylines with Jodie Whittaker didn’t hold me so I quit. Now it seems there is a new doctor, Ncuti Gatwa. Wonder how he will be?
