Trying on clothes just got a lot easier.

A Silicon Valley company named Memomi has basically just revolutionised the act of trying on clothes, by finally allowing us to see how we look from behind without having to bend over backwards, or do some sneaky double mirror angling.

The memory mirror looks just like a regular, full-size mirror. But it’s actually a massive screen with a tiny camera on top, which allows you to record short videos of yourself as you twirl, walk, or turn around.

You can then re-watch to see how a piece of clothing actually looks from all angles.

Memomi’s CEO Salvador Vilcovsky told NPR: ‘If you put the camera on top of a screen, you will look totally distorted. But what we are doing, we are correcting the perspective in real time. And it looks like actually the camera is behind the screen.’

The mirror also allows for split screens, so you can see yourself wearing multiple different options at once.
