Also so out of place to see people smoking indoors and ash trays at every table. How times have changed!!
Thats one I am glad they did away with! Couldn't breath in most places when we went out in public.

Agreed, 100% My parents were smokers for a long, long time and a lot of those places that had smoking rooms separate from the rest of the place...terrible! They'd open the door and you'd be hit with this wave of disgusting stench and smoke. Hated it.

Target looks kind of the same today.
It pretty much does, though they're doing major redesigns across their stores. It also feels like they're taking the Walmart approach of making every store what used to be a SuperStore, so the smaller ones are going away.

I don't have a problem with that, the bigger the store the more the selection in items and less I need to buy online. There's a smaller walmart near me and all the departments are shrunk and they don't carry everything the bigger wal-marts carry.

Yeah, it's more convenient, for sure, it's just funny that growing up all we had were the small Walmarts and Targets, with a few Super Centers and Target Greatlands, and now every single Walmart and Target seems to be a massive store. It's fine, the selection is indeed better, just striking that this is where we are now, lol.

Ah, when credit cards were still a more manual process...

One more, might as well!

These are great!

Shame K-mart went under. Still see them all over, the signs are still on the buildings but the buildings are boarded up and homeless set up camp in the parking lots. Either that or everyone uses the old K-Mart parking lots as dumping grounds. Trash everywhere.

So nice seeing the way things were before, nostalgic :D

Yeah, same here, sadly. Just a lot of abandoned buildings.

Whats crazy is they are always building NEW buildings when half the buildings in all the cities around here are empty. I don't get it.
