With what I have seen in my search so far, and the fact that my maiden name is literally older than this country, and is linked to a shit ton of presidents, living and dead, explorers and other notable people in history.. I literally can't rule out the possibility..*deadpans* Are you sure that we're not related to some degree?
The fact of the matter is, somehow, someway, somewhere, we are all related.. it's just a matter of where and when.. and how far a person is willing to go back to look.
That said though.. it would be pretty cool to find a cousin or two on the forum.. and I wouldn't be surprised if that ended up being the case considering the size of my family.. but even if that's not the case, your friends are the family you make for yourself.. so blood or not, you're family anyway..
