Can I just revive this thread since season 5 is going to be airing TONIGHT at 9 pm on AMC? 
I an't tell you how excited I am for this. I recently got into the show for the first time this year, marathoned all of it earlier in the year, and am now caught up with it, have been for a little while. They're playing a lot of reruns, as expected, and as I watch the episodes again, I find myself noticing certain things I didn't catch before or picking up on hints about this next seasons plot lines.
Who else will be watching it tonight? Fortunately, I'll be home from work before it airs, so I'm not gonna miss it. :3

It really is. I know a lot of people hated the beginning of the fourth season, and I can see why now as I rewatch it. However, it is not as bad as some other shows out there. TWD at its worst is so much better than some of the crap on cable now.

It's funny because when it first started airing, I thought: "Pfft, just another zombie TV show. I bet it's not as good as people say it is." I didn't bother watching it because of that. I went 4 years without giving it a chance before I watched the episode where Rick is in the house and he decides to sleep on the bed, and that group of guys Daryl ends up joining come in. I marathoned it and then asked myself why the hell I didn't watch it sooner. xD

I really loved Carol in this episode. I didn't like her much in the beginning because of how weak and vulnerable she was, but she's really blossomed as a character and I love that. I loved how she took action to save Rick and the gang, and when Daryl ran up to her and hugged her at the end? That was the cutest shit in the world. He looked like such a happy little puppy. I really loved everything about this episode, even though they didn't stay in Terminus very long.
Oh! And I was excited to see Morgan back. I love his character despite him only being in two episodes (three now). I wonder what they're going to have him do in comparison to the comics. I don't read them, but it sounds like there's some changes as to how his character has worked out.

I'm tempted to see what the comic did with Father Gabriel, but I know I may spoil myself if the do follow the storyline of the comic in the show. I was VERY surprised to see Morgan back, but it sounds like they changed his story because conflicting schedules. I think I might give in and just check out the possibilities. xD
