He's right; trust me on this one.Don’t check out, this is a adventure worth fighting for until the universe says it’s your time. But don’t just give it to the universe.
I am yet to see so much as one good reason to live, to press on, why have humans placed life on the pedestal while at the same time kill each other over trivial matters. Life life life life... blah blah blah blah...
Life is nothing more than pain and suffering, and humans are experts in inflicting pain and making other humans suffer.
I already don't have squat, so I suppose I can cross that off my list, eh?
And no, life is nothing more that meaningless surviving, day after day, until one day your body says 'enough' and you drop dead, either gradually or suddenly. Life can be summed up to this: Work, eat, sleep, repeat so you can continue to work, eat and sleep until the Grim Reaper comes knocking on your door.
Humans are born and humans die. Everything we do in between serves only to pass the time, so we don't die prematurely of boredom.

That would get me fired, since my job requires spotless medical history, not counting the usual ailments that come with age, of course.
Every employee at my workplace is required to go through an extensive background check before even been granted to work there. That includes medical background, specifically psychological aspect of it.
The background check is conducted by a government agency equal to CIA in US, and they're looking for anything, no matter how small and / or insignificant it may seem, to rub it in your face and use it against you during an interview with one of their agents.
There is a questionnaire we have to fill up. One of the fields explicitly pries into your mental health, past and / or present, so the agents get to know absolutely everything.
Ah! My apologies I wrongly just assumed you were in the states.Maybe in US, finding a new job is a piece of cake, but here where I am, unless you have strong political connections, a family member in the right place and / or enough money to bribe someone, you can forget about getting a job.
I got my current job on a fluke. It happened that the company's entire IT staff quit at the same time, so they were desperate, and I spent a year there as a trainee, so I already knew the system inside and out. My IT coworkers were hired based on nepotism, which they both openly bragged about.
From what I heard so far, things aren't much better in US either. I don't know.![]()
Theres been a few jobs they had to eliminate where I work because they'd advertise a vacant position and nobody would apply for it. Rather than upping the pay or benefits to make the job more enticing to people they just eliminated it and put more work on those of us who continue to work there.Florida there is a sign on every business door looking for people. So at least for now if you want a job you can get one.
Huh. My employer does something similar, but instead of eliminating job positions, they simply burden the existing employees with more work they're not qualified for and never signed up for, instead of creating appropriate positions and hiring appropriately skilled workers.
