Thinking of Moving

Hm well 30 days should be enough, but then again you need to make sure that there's something out there in your budget.

There is plenty out there. Nicer / bigger than what I have now for around the same price too.

I'd move then. Get heck out of that neighborhood.

There are always consequences, but breaking apartments don't sound very nice to live in.

After hearing that I agree with Mikey, there's no point in staying in one place when there's another out there for the same price which in turn is a lot better then what your in now.

Well actually my budget will allow me to find something bigger and nicer.... but only in another bad neighborhood. Lol.

Or I could have something small and crappy in a nice neighborhood.

Right now I have the worst of both. Something small and crappy in a bad neighborhood.

Well gent, when moving...usually the best thing to look for is a good neighborhood. Even if the house is small and crappy.

Small and crappy house > Getting your house broken into, getting mugged on streets, etc.

While I doubt it's that bad, I'd still make the move to a better place.

Ive lived in bad neighborhoods my entire life. No biggie.

There are a few parts in this town that are extremely rough (like the airport district and the westside) and I refuse to live in those parts.

Eh, I've lived in quite a few pretty rough neighborhoods myself. I was held up at gunpoint once, and roughed up a few times, but I think that's the worst thats ever happened to me.

Well the important thing is to decide what matters to you most. More space, or more security. (more space sounds pretty nice actually, but I'd still probably go with more security)

Well Ive lived in this part of town (which is considered ghetto) for the past few years and Ive never been jumped / roughed up. Then again I dont go wandering the streets at night. I have a car.

Its just people like to break into my car in the middle of the night or go in my backyard and look through things which can be annoying. Ive caught a few.. Went running out with a baseball bat in my hand and told them to get the **** away.

Come to think of it, I went walking out at night a little too much. Damn me for being a night owl. D:

But yes, that was my common tactic for defending my home as well.

Baseball bats worked wonders.

Man, I seen this house (not an apartment or duplex) in my price range for rent. $650 a month (which is cheap in these parts). Not in a real bad neighborhood either.

Shame I dont have deposit+rent (which is about $1300) right now. Anyone want to paypal me $1300?

I want to! But... I don't have that kind of dough. Try saving up. A house is always a nice alternative.

Im going to look at a place tomorrow. 1st month is free and the depsoit is all thats needed to move in. Its across the street from a cemetery though. Spoooooky.

Nice neighborhood though.

Hope you find a nicer, better place. At least you won't have to be moved too far if you die.

 J/K Let us know how it goes man.

They said my credit wasnt good enough and they dont accept co signers.

Oh well. The search continues.

Going to look at another place tomorrow. The guy doesnt care about my credit as long as I have a job and I do I have good rental history (which I do).. We'll see how it looks on the inside.

it's a shame about the earlier house.
Oh well. It didnt have air conditioning. I would have to buy one and stick it in the window.. Thats not real safe. Anyone could come up and pull the AC out and climb in through the window.

Just went and looked at a house (different than the one I said I was going to look at above, that one sucked). Its HUUGE for the price. Maybe 3 or 4 time of the size of the place I live now.

Might go move in there. Its seems nice.

I have an application for it in the car. He said he doesnt care about my bad credit either.
