I have often seen people comparing X with Threads or X with Bluesky, however, I have not see anyone compare Bluesky with Threads. Do you use these platforms, which one do you think is better? I have account on Threads but haven't used it yet. I am yet to sign up with Bluesky.
I think people compare Twitter with Bluesky more because it was started by Jack Dorsey, the former owner of Twitter. Threads is just something Zuckerberg made for shits and giggles.
They also moved to Bluesky because of Politics. Twitter used to be a left wing echo chamber until Elon took over, and then people made the exodus over to Bluesky.

Never used threads, but I don't have a good first impression with BlueSky. The recommended skeets there are... interesting to say the least. I don't mind furries having their own space, but I think the algorithm there is pretty dumb to recommend me something that would forever burned into my retinas. I will not further elaborate on what I saw. Nowadays, when I returned to BlueSky, it's a moanfest and gloating how it's more fun there than in Twitter. Like, I don't care about Twitter, they should stop talking about it.
Overall, I'm not a fan of these micro-blogging sites, and I'd likely stick to Twitter more.
Bluesky has about 33 million users and Threads has about 100-300 million users. Both platforms are growing at a steady rate. I’m quite active on both platforms. The engagement is a lot higher on Threads than Bluesky.
