I only came and went asking for technical issues and, ahem, certain seeds that I need to torrent. Smarmy answers are expected on reddit. this is why I always make throwaways and never get attached to one account.
I tend to agree. I might abandon it. I made a sub for my re-opened networking site, but no one is looking at it except my g/f who joined just to cheer me up. lol
Yeah, I have come to the conclusion that microblogging platforms will melt your brain. I am throwing away my account on both X and bluesky. Fuck them both.

I don't use social media anymore except for IG, since it's how I talk to certain friends and family. Oh, and I follow funny cat channels. Other than that, I'd have deleted my account years ago.

It's worth noting that the CEO of Bluesky, Jay Graber, is stepping down. She's being replaced by Toni Schneider. I'm not sure if this would solve the bot spamming issue there.
Doesn't Threads have something to do with IG? I've never actually used Threads itself.
Threads is owned by Meta, which owned both Facebook and IG. Which objectively makes Bluesky seem better. Bluesky's new CEO does not give me confidence on this platform ("Venture Capitalist" or something and is pro-AI, the prior reaction from the users were NOT positive).
I simply don't use microblogging sites. Not anymore thankfully.
I use IG still today simply because I have a small following, and it's also the only way I currently have to communicate with several close friends/family....
I'll never go on any other "social media" platform again tho.
