Very dependent on the sub. 90% are shit though.Reddit's a cesspool lol
Depends on the subs which pointed out by the user below:Reddit's a cesspool lol
I only came and went asking for technical issues and, ahem, certain seeds that I need to torrent. Smarmy answers are expected on reddit. this is why I always make throwaways and never get attached to one account.Very dependent on the sub. 90% are shit though.
I tend to agree. I might abandon it. I made a sub for my re-opened networking site, but no one is looking at it except my g/f who joined just to cheer me up. lolReddit's a cesspool lol
except for IG, since it's how I talk to certain friends and family.
I was briefly on "X" and 98% of my followers were bots. *sighsYeah, that's me nowadays. Keeping some Meta accounts because my normie folks can't get out of that social media bubble. I don't even post there. At least, it's not a microblogging platform. I swear even in bluesky I recently saw bots spamming in my discovery feed. It's not good.I'll just crawl back to neocities... even there I don't want to interact anyone because there're youngsters there and I don't want anything to do with them.IDK how toturn off the global feed feature
Doesn't Threads have something to do with IG? I've never actually used Threads itself.I personally prefer Bluesky to Threads. And that is primarily because of the decentralization model of Bluesky. I love the data autonomy compared to Meta that controls data on Threads.
Threads is owned by Meta, which owned both Facebook and IG. Which objectively makes Bluesky seem better. Bluesky's new CEO does not give me confidence on this platform ("Venture Capitalist" or something and is pro-AI, the prior reaction from the users were NOT positive).Doesn't Threads have something to do with IG? I use IG still today simply because I have a small following, and it's also the only way I currently have to communicate with several close friends/family....Threads is owned by Meta, which owned both Facebook and IG. I simply don't use microblogging sites. Not anymore thankfully.
