No, I've never actually seen a tornado. However, a small tornado touched down in my backyard for a second and lifted right back up. My dad's friend was working on the next road over and saw the tornado quickly touch down. It lifted my dad's metal shed from the concrete flooring and threw it into a tree. It also tossed my dad's Honda Rebel motorcycle into the field by our house.
I saw one farther away in the lake near my old home. We went outside when it was done. A lot of debris was everywhere. It was like the lake of water was now a lake of insulation and wood.
