My mom had wireless a few years back. I had no computer. I'd go over to her house to use the internet and I'd be writing a long blog post on myspace (used to write in that thing a lot) or email to someone and the internet would cut out.. I'd hit the Submit button and my pages of writing would be lost.

Comcast for primary, Netzero dial up for backup.

Until this year, ComCrap was so unreliable, we needed the backup. Now we only use it when traveling and someplace wants to charge for wireless, but you have free local calls.

Seems like a waste of money to pay two internet bills. Can you really not live without internet when comcast goes out?

Wireless, everyone in our family browses the internet through our laptop.

Pretty sure satellite sucks, rain and cloudiness could disrupt it, right?

I remember when my parent's used to have dial up, and there was only a set amount of cords that could be plugged into the modem at once, and how I'd have to do something other than the internet for awhile
